"Treefall" at NCTC in 2011
Ben Randle will direct Henry Murray's acclaimed play, "Treefall" at New Conservatory Theatre Center. Performances begin January 21 and run through February 27, 2011.
"Treefall" is described in press materials as a "drama set in a post-apocalyptic future" where "three teenagers form a makeshift family in a Pacific Northwest cabin after an environmental disaster. Treefall examines how our culture sees and instills gender, identity, and family."
"Treefall" premiered in an award-winning production by Rogue Machine Theatre in Los Angeles, and is a finalist for the first Woodward/Newman Drama Award.
